carb balance

 hi  tried to balance carbs with a morgan carbtune  carbs 1and2 ok carb4 ok carb3 goes to the top of the tube and will not balance suggestions please

You should be balancing 1 with 2 together first.
 
Then balance 3 with 4 on their own separately.
 
Then with the middle screw adjust until 1&2 are level with 3&4.

Have you checked there's no problems with the connection on No. 3?
Does that tube have the 2 little tubes inside to throttle the compression?
Have you swapped the tube onto another cylinder to confirm it's not the tube/ gauge at fault?

Then go back and re-do 1&2 as they will have changed, then 3&4, then 1&2 again, then the left pair to right pair again.  Repeat for about an hour until it finally all lines up.  :D

Took me about an hour last time too, I now need to find a field to do mine in though, because my new exhaust and living in a very respectable close doesn't make for keeping the neighbours happy when doing my carbs LOL
