2004 - FZS1000



Can anyone recommend a mechanic in Bedfordshire, my mate decided he would do my ex up valve and sort my leaking carbs. He broke the studs and the leak is now worse !!

Hi,


I have just brought my 2004 FZS1000 back from Spain and plan to re-register it back in the UK, luckily I kept the old head light which I have just fitted and all works well.......my question is what side should be lit (or both) as I cannot remember if it is just the same as Spain (RHS illuminated) bike is going for mot this week

Hi All


Just about to re-plate my bike in Spain, but I am trying to find out exactly what costs are involved......just so I don't get ripped off.


Does any one know the C02 emissions so I can work out the costs.


I will post a how import your bike to Spain with exact figures when it has been done.

I am in Zamora ( 3hours from Santander) I am considering ferrying back and forth for a couple of years   :lol  as I can get a cheap ferry.


I have just dragged the wife (who is Spanish) round the offices to sort out transferring to Spanish plates.........nightmare stuff!!


I will keep you up to date with the costs and the right way to do it and in what order, just as soon as I can get a replacement headlight.

Introduction / FZS1000 Lights - Spain

Hi everyone,


moved to Spain last year and took my bike with me.


I have been told that I need to buy new lights to dip the other way for ITV (MOT), can anyone point me in the direction of purchasing new or secondhand  lights for my bike ? Yamaha want 350 euro plus tax which excludes fitting..........OUCH big sting in my opinion.


I have tried ebay, Mil Anuncios, Segundamano and my wife has been phone the bike breakers.


Any help would be appreciated.

Hi everyone,
I am new to here so pleased to meet everyone.


I have just moved to Spain and brought my bike with me 2004 FZS1000 which I think is the dogs.........


I am just about to put Spanish plates on her then do some touring, but feel that I may benefit from a taller screen to cut out some of the wind blast in the hills. Any suggestions, recomendations will be much appreciated as to what "works".
