Title: I Done something really really stupid today
Post by: chaparral02 on 16 February 2013, 08:22:21 pm
I Jumped on my FZ1 put the key in ignition and turned....
But the Key wouldn't turn far enough to start the bike..I think that the ignition has seized up so I go off to the shed and get some WD40 to spray into the ignition..
Then i try turning the key again to start the bike but again & again & again everytime the key failed to turn far enough to start the bike..

A few minutes later I notice the starter button on the throttle housing... :o ... :o ... :o

I remember something else I did many years ago

Once I ran out of fuel on my gsxr 750.
So I got off and started pushing the bike to the nearest garage.

When I got tired and stopped for a rest I then notice the fuel tap also had a RES setting........... :wall

My last bike was an XJ 900 D9, I rode into the garage, put it on it's side stand, wondered why it was leaning so far over, nearly broke my leg holding it up, looked down, no side stand poking down!

Bloody heavy those bikes...
