Got a mate with a carb balancer and he is handy with a spanner. I altered the revs to just over 1000 and its already made a difference.

The Fazer manual is a godsend although it does identify the wrong water coolant drain bolt!

Thanks very one for your help, I will post another recording once the carbs have been done.

Still too low, put it up to 1200rpm.

Feccin hell, I guessed it was low idle speed.

Shappaeye - the idle speed should be about 1350rpm. Anything lower and it will hunt and struggle to keep going and end up sounding like a bag of spanners. Get the idle speed right and it will probably be OK.
Another ex-Fazer rider that is a foccer again

Mine would sound like the throttle's being used at 1350rpm!

Treat everything in life the way a dog would- if you can't eat it or foc it, forget it.
