Now that looks pretty damn good

The blue background on the Yamaha logo should make it stand out more which is perfect :)

Version 2.0?

Happy to change the british flag for the English/Scottish/Welsh/Irish etc. I would prefer it with the Saltire anyway :p

I like this one, I think the design needs to be recognisible from a distance and this design would be a distinctive blue spot from a fair distance. (this chimes in with the blue spot on the calipers -sort of).

The tune forks are looking great now I see also bigger stronger words.
Could we have somhow fazer as the bike decals.
I still worry about the flag I dont think there enough of it seen to tell what it is - yes it is also faded in the background but to bring it out more would obscure the words.
What about bringing the words closer to the folks logo and loosing the inner black outline and have the flag vignet form colours to white where the words will be
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

I much prefer the look of the seperate flags, but I think the England one may be better straight and without the wavy

Would the centre blue work better with green for welsh and red for england as I like the look of the scotish one with the blue flag and blue centre

Im not sure what you mean when you say Fazer as bike decals?

Re: changing the flag - Its one of those things that you wont know for sure if it works or not till its physically printed out (I can print them all out on Monday to check if there is colour bleed etc). My feeling is it will be fine the way it is, Personally I think you can tellthat its a flag at the back, and i like the outlines as it helps draw your eye. without the inner black line the writing would look like it didnt belong there IMO. happy to change things to suit the majority though of course :Thumbsup

Yes, I take your point about the England flag, you might be right with that - ill change that over the next day or so.

That could be a fair point about the Yamaha Logo as well. Im not sure how I could get it to look, or if it would work though (Especially the welsh one!), just as Ive never seen a green Yamaha logo - red should be fine. Ill try it anyway and see what its like :)

These are my favourites so far. Id like to see them without the smaller black circle and grey overlay just to see if it looked any better with the flags being clearer. Good ideas so far though. :thumbup

ive got the psd files setup in photoshop now anyway doddsie, so making small changes and tweaks to the layers is (relatively) quick and easy. If i can get 4-5 designs pinned down (probably the 4 constituent flags, and the british one), that should appease the majority of people interested.

Theres no reason why i cant tweak the design to suit individuals as well though if someone wants something specific (for e.g. a LOFO design etc).

sometimes having too much choice is a bad thing though IMO  :thumbup

Brilliant work Mickvp  :thumbup . Good to be able to keep my home made disc holder for this.
I like them all but agree too much choice is not always a good thing. A standard design with just the different flags would make them more easily recognisable to fellow foccers.

The revised designs are fantastic (not fond of the "vignet" style though)

I would definitely be looking to get them printed for my bikes :)

If you don't mind sharing later on, could you upload the PSD or attach to a forum post / PM ?

As doddsie says
Quote

The england one I think looks better without the wave in the flag but I think the red cross needs to be thicker/ bigger

The union flag isnt quite working is it

Ah, are you in Perranporth? we were thinking of moving over there, I'm very often one of those idiots you see standing in the surf trying to catch a bass of an evening. Currently we are about 20 miles away although I'm working and staying in London at the moment.

Tax discs:- Well done Mickvp for some great designs. I like the English one a lot although perhaps we should have the text midway between the outside border and the Yam logo (which looks great in blue) -reason is, some cheapo tax disc holders (ie mine) cover up a bit too much of the outside edge of the disc with the rubber seal thing.
