Fazer8 screen replacement
« on: 28 October 2013, 08:53:26 am »
Starting a new thread here as previous one had no replies for past three months.

Looking at replacing the screen on my fazer 8 to try and help make the winter months a little bit more bearable especially on the motorway stretches.

I'm only a short arse (5' 9") and have done a bit of experimenting with my current (original) screen from just moving my hand over the top of the screen which makes quite a bit of difference to head buffeting to if I get onto the tank, not easy with my midriff it's blissfully quiet but I can't see out of my mirrors!!!!

Touring screen, double bubble, flip up, .......... which is the way to go and what's the difference, does the official touring screen have a lip at the top to push that last bit of wind over the head (is this the flip up like skidmarx offers - which by the way is virtually half the price of the original!!!)

Looking forward to some more feed back

cheers - David
Porquoi moi?

I've got the yam touring screen it does have a lip at the top,  the wind hits around the chin, no buffeting though. I'm 5'10.

I would try one of those clip on adjustable ones.
