We've also had mice in garage/shed this winter. Another good bait is grapes, lots of success, sometimes with a smear of peanut butter butter closely to attract them.

My local charges me £10 a wheel..and he's happy to do them. Others may have cheaper.

Serviced the Exup, topped up the oil and took it for a little blast.
Haven't rode it for over six months and it still feels tight as a drum.
So glad I kept hold of it.

Who did your seat?

Not sure to be honest. Bought it already done from a Foccer on here.
Thought I remember him saying it was a Sargent.
Whatever it is, it's extremely comfortable on long runs and very good quality. Although it's a bit higher than standard with the extra padding so makes me tip toe a bit on certain cambers.

OK..thanks

Northern Ireland is part of the UK.

In which case I don't know what their advantage might be.

Fair point...I stand corrected! 😊

I'm just surprised they can be 50% cheaper than places like 'car parts 4 less'..
If something seems too good to be true.......

I've been looking at replacing the auxiliary drive belt on my wife's car and am beginning to notice a pattern of auto car parts sellers based in Ireland regularly being significantly cheaper than UK sellers.... usually offering free postage.
I'm happy to buy wherever gives a good deal but wonder why these sellers are becoming so competitive? Of course I want genuine parts as described....don't we all...
Any thoughts guys?

Bikesure has been slated on another forum for its' poor customer service.

Brilliant!

Bikesure are Adrian Flux, who if I remember correctly have been in the bike insurance business for years, they seemed fine on the phone, nae bother getting a quote.

Which is another thing, there is only a small number of companies in the bike market, but many of them trade under multiple names.  Pain in the butt.

I just get a bad feeling they’ll want a engineers report next at my expense cos I got the crap dodgy OE shock sorted.

Give them a call and ask them what they think about Brexit...

Sorry... I'll get my coat!

OK, I know we can be a pack of miserable foccers but today I feel good because I went out in the cold and bled my car brakes.... What's so good about that you ask?....well I thought I needed to fit a new servo or master cylinder which would have been a complete pita.
So, feeling good.
What made you feel good today?..(not expecting a busy thread!)
Come on guys... pretend to be happy...

Both batteries on the bench showing identical charge at the moment and both weigh the same

Depending on the colour of the case you can sometimes see through (with a bright torch on the opposite side) to see the fluid levels.

Alternatively, whilst they say they are sealed............

I did have a half hearted attempt to open it but thought it was putting up a fight so I backed off

If I remember correctly you can always go back to standard if you don't like it...but hopefully you'll get the same improvement as I have found.
Do let us know how it goes!

Its a bit of a git to replace, not a two minute job, awkward location..but I think I'll try it and see what happens.
Its been on charge on the bench this evening and reached capacity with still showing green ball float.

I guess the worst is I will have to change it again :( for the replacement being sent. I will monitor voltage in-situ.

In my opinion on standard bars the improvement was significant.
Not sure about the handguard issue.

It does have the little green ball floaty thing but that floats on one cell...other cells could be low on fluid. It is showing green at the moment.
Looking at the state of the delivery box I would guess the loss to be an egg cup full or maybe a bit more

Yes, it's sealed.

So I recently took delivery of a nice new car battery for the family cage...but upon inspection found it had leaked through the vent during delivery. The vendor is replacing it foc but I can't help but think it is too good to chuck.
Not knowing how much acid is lost and from how many cells, can I test it anyhow??..or do I put t on the car and see what happens?
Seems so wrong to simply bin it.....what would you do?
