Twin Pipes For A Gen 1?
« on: 05 May 2021, 07:02:56 am »
Hi guys, I've got a feeling that I've seen it done somewhere before but very rare, does anybody out there have any information on converting a Gen 1 1000 into a twin exit exhaust system i.e one out of each side of the bike? I'm sure that I've seen a link pipe made up to do the job somewhere  but I can't for the life of me remember where. Any information would be much appreciated.

A company called IXIL used to do a twin pipe system, I believe.  Probably not available now, though.

I'm just trying to see if it's still possible to do, maybe someone still has a link pipe laying around after putting their bike up for sale, even an image would help as we may be able to make one at work  ;) .
Always looking for a way to make it stand out from the crowd  :D .
