When doing long journeys I like to fill the tank up as much as possible to get the best range. The problem is that it takes ages to get the last 3 -4 litres in, I have to really dribble it in at about a couple of pennies per second. Ive never seen the fuel gauge read properly full, close to it, but never full.

Is it just mine? Or do they all do that Sir?

I think some folks drill a hole in the tube on the filler allowing faster filling. I cba. I sometimes wonder if those in the queue behind must be thinking, "Jeez, that bike's fuel tank must be like Dr Who's pockets!"  :lol

Has anyone got any pictures of where to drill this hole and what size?
