New Bike Rider & Fazer Owner
« on: 28 August 2013, 01:04:59 pm »
Hi All!
Passed my Mod 2 last week and went for a gorgeous T Reg Fazer in gold.  Very well looked after (i have to try and keep on top of the good condition!) and only 19k on the clock.
Had my first blast out to Devils Bridge & Trough of Bowland on Sunday and what a way to spend a sunny afternoon!  Looking forward to clocking up many a mile - just need to iron out a few clunky gear changes first  :\ !

Hey Rob, welcome to Foc-u mate, the place where it's all happenin.

You"re now officially a Foccer & every time you feel the need to say Fuck you can now say Foc!

All other prophanities remain unchanged.

Hope you enjoy the bike, i was the same as you last April & i've had so much fun.I knew Foc all about bikes but the folks here were a wealth of info & even now im asking questions but im doing most things myself & theres a bit of satisfaction in that.

Take it easy & enjoy

Cheers

Appreciate that!  Weather permitting, i'll try and get to Bullbeck on Sunday!  Managed to get out briefly round the Overton backroads yesterday trying to smooth out my gear changes!  With a little less on/off with the throttle they became much smoother.  So much oomf in the thing, haven't stretched it outside of 6,000 rpm yet!   :)

I think he's a speed freak. A low speed freak. He's begging me to let him try my restricted 600 with the trailer and 100kg of crap loaded in it Sunday week!!  :lol :lol

I used to have a Fazer Thou for a couple of years. Then sold it and got a 600, best thing I ever did. A mate who used to have a 600 Fazer sold his and bought a new FZS 1000 in 2005 since I got my 600 about 3 years ago he got another 600 Fazer and has now sold his thou because he never used it any more that tells you what you need to know about which is the more fun bike and that is what biking is all about, FUN,
If you do get down to Bullbeck I will be either on a blue Fazer or my Matt black fazer,
Stuart

Having loads of fun on my thou!
Have ridden the 600 and thoroughly enjoyed that too. Would like both but... :\

So much oomf in the thing, haven't stretched it outside of 6,000 rpm yet!   :)

You'll notice when you do mate.  ;)

I'm in pretty much the same boat as you. Passed my tests almost 4 months ago and bought a 600 straight after. I love the kick up the arse you get when it hits 7,000!  :eek

You will love it mate, take it easy though until you get use to the throttle and the rev happy engine especially going into and out off corners. I have had some scary brown pant  :look
