FZS600 Fazer / Re: output shaft viable repair ???

Some gearbox sprockets are held in place by a circlip, as there is relatively little sideways load, that may be a viable option, just get an appropriate groove machined into the output shaft.

Had the bike a couple of weeks now, it replaced a Triumph 900 Sprint Sport that I just couldn't live with, much too tall in the saddle for my 29 inch legs.  I think they must have shrunk because I didn't have a problem with  with a Honda Africa Twin some years back.  But I've found posting pics on here is bit hit and miss, they showed them the correct way up on the mobile site but upside down on the full site!

Ok, let's try to upload some pics of this new bike of mine, it's in lovely condition and only covered 11,000 miles.

Introduction / Nice bike

I have been riding motorcycles for more than 50 years and have owned upwards of 60 bikes in my time, from cammy Veloscettes to Harley cruisers but now I'm getting on a bit I decided to try something that starts on the button and doesn't weigh more than a family car, hence a 2003 Fazer.  Have to say its one of the nicest bikes I've owned, easy to ride, fair turn of speed and quite light. Lovely bike.
