Help with Keys and ECU
« on: 31 May 2020, 04:12:30 pm »
Hi Everyone,

My bike has recently had a ECU change (by someone doing repairs). It was a 2nd hand unit that came with 1 black key.
I need to get another key cut, but i do not have the red key to program the chip. What can i do?
Any help would be great.

Check the Electronic key companies for cars as some can clone  the key you have.

If you are on the faceache group, one of the members on there has recently bought an FZ6 that came without keys. A standard blank was cut to do the ignition barrel and he bought a cheap (under £10) circuit board to bypass the immobiliser. Worrying it can be done so easily but if you need more details, ask on faceache.
