Footrest spring broken
« on: 05 December 2014, 06:20:24 pm »
Is this repairable, or do I have to replace the footrest assembly?

I suspect the latter, as I've not been able to find the spring for sale on it's own.

If that is the case, what bikes and years can I get one from, I assume it is a fairly standard piece.

A couple of times it's not dropped down properly, usually when I'm pulling away and about to go for 2nd.  A bit distracting, so I want to get it sorted.

I've gone for a complete hanger and gear shift assembly off eBay.  Should be quick and easy to swap over.
