In anything if you pay for a particular service,in this case racing and you don't see any for whatever reason you must be entitled to some kind of refund after all you didn't pay to stand or sit at Silverstone to watch the weather!

How hard would it have been to run it tomorrow? it may have cost a few quid extra to keep some people another day but in the long run everyone would have benefited especially as it was a bank holiday anyway.I wonder how they intend to re-emburse the fans !

Just talking to a mate of mine and he said you have to have some play and I wondered if tomorrow any of you with a centre stand could just put it in 1st gear and see how much "rock" you have mine may not be as excessive as I think, thanks.

I thought of that but it's only done 5,700 miles then again I don't know how the other owners rode it so it could be that. They're not that hard to do are they?

Hi, While adjusting my chain I noticed a fair bit of play in the rear wheel when in gear, probably 2 to 3 inches is this the norm? the bike rides ok with some snatch in the first 2/3 gears but nothing you would think was a problem, thanks for any comments. The bike is a 2010 fz1n.

When I bought my FZ1N it had a Scorpion can on and the previous owner had disconnected the ex/up valve leaving the cables taped up under the seat.I don't know if he did any mods to the bike but it runs great, perhaps the only thing I could say is that it pops on the overrun which is ok with me anyway.

I've got a pair of gerbing heated gloves on e/bay at the moment ,they belong to my wife who no longer goes on the bike so if anyone wants them they're well worth a look. They're on at £45 to start under the name merc220phil.

It's been on the cards, Yamaha haven't been interested in any upgrades, etc for a few years now, just getting shut of surplus stock while working on the MT range, shame though, don't know if an MT10 will fill the gap the FAZER will leave regarding a sports tourer, probably a half-faired model with some luggage metalwork on it,ay?
