Does anyone ever go Loomies on a Wednesday night? I'm currently in Andover, and that seems to be the local watering hole. Not been yet, need an excuse to go!!

I'll check a route out on the map and let you know. I don't generally do more than an hour's ride after work, cos I'm usually too knackered tho.

Is that a "yes" then? I probably won't bother going unless some Foccers are there. Too lazy!!

Well, I should think I definitely will at some point. But at the moment, I've got Lofo on Aug 4th, Rescue Rideout on the 18th, plus I've got to get the bike in to sort this little stutter problem before Mike's next Ivanising visit in September. But then, you bugger off to the States before then don't you? So a bit tricky TBH. Let me give it a day or two more thought.

Yep, my contract at Albright ends on the 31st of August. Hope to have passed my driving test by then, then heading back to France for a few weeks via Holland to respray/clean up the bike before selling.

I would do LoFo, but it's too far and going the wrong way for me....

I go down to Lommies most wednesdays, unfortunately can't do this weds as got to go and watch my son in his school play.
I usually stop off at the Alton bike meet at the train station and then pop down to loomies.
I'm on a box eyed 600 in red.

I might be up for this.  I don't think I have any other plans.  What time are you thinking of getting there?

Not sure, never been. What time do things kick off? The earliest I can get there is probably 6:30.

Maybe, if it's a good meet.  :)

Loomies is a great place to go any night, not just Wednesday's. A cracking little ride around the A32 and A272 too.

Loomies website says Wednesday is late opening tho (til 10pm), which makes it more worthwhile for me, cos it's about 80 miles each way. Guess that gets me home about 11:30pm, so not too bad. The A32 wouldn't be on my route, but have ridden the 272 a couple of times, agreed some of it is a good crack. Actually, my best route looks friggin' boring - A34 Abingdon to Winchester (dual carriageway, all of it :z ). So would prefer to do it with max no. of Foccers showing up - that would make it worthwhile.

TBH, a weekend is probably a better idea for me too. Could we get more Foccers on board for that?

I've been to Loomies lots of times, but I don't tend to go to the bike nights, mostly it's where I stop off after leading rideouts or if I've been out on my own and want to get something to eat.

Met up with Fireblake earlier today at Loomies cafe. I'll probably go again next Wednesday, hope to see Nick Crisp there too! Fireblake showed me an awesome road, we'll have to do it again next week!
