Are you sure your in kms? Your speedo might be showing kms but your odometer could be showing miles or vice versa, worth checking fella

I'm going home to Cornwall on mine Friday & going to try a different approach and fill it to the brim from petrol station 1/2 mile from work (Basingstoke) then see how close to Falmouth I get before the light comes on.

Ok, so I did a little experiment... basically I went for a ride. 218 miles later with a bit of bimbling and hooning.. the gauge has just dropped under the bottom line but the light has not come on... so I now know how far I can go. :-)

Is the bulb still working? Do the low oil and low petrol lights both light up when you press the started button?
