Did the trip a few years ago , stayed in Split ,Dubrovnik and the national park , plitvice lakes , not sure of the places but most accommodate bikes securely , it was very warm when we went 42 degs and this made some roads very sloppy , the coast road down is stunning , enjoy

Just changed from BT023s to the T30s , initial impression is the profile Is a little more rounded as it feels like it tips in a little quicker , all other Aspects feel pretty much the same a the old Tyres , when braking hard it felt like it was pulling up quicker but that may be down to the old Tyres being worn , how long they last , well Time will tell as too early , I paid £244 pair , ride in ride out , couldn't be added to do it myself , Wheel house Tyres in Coleshill | DSC 0013 5 |

Provisionally looking at around 1100 miles from Calais , that's down to Millau. And back plus whatever it is from where folk live to the tunnel, as for cost the tunnel is £59 return at present on the dates listed , will be doing hotels or b&b but not expensive , route will be sorted soon but prefer to use non toll roads whenever pos , no more info at the moment

Proposed trip to the Millau viaduct leaving July 2nd return 5th , steady trip taking in scenic route avoiding tolls unless the time saving is not worth it , put a name down if interested , will catch the 10-50 Chunnel crossing on way out and 4pm ish on the Sunday return , more info to follow

Yes Bill , been a few times , stay at the Tiergarten the place owned by Sabine Schmidt of top gear fames sister and aunt , the biggest problem is going over a rise and not knowing where the road goes so you back off only to find you could keep it pinned ! Lol

I think these things like screens are personal , we are all built differently , because I used to do a lot of push bike riding , on a hard seat , I find my standard seat very comfy even for 600 miles in a day , always interesting to see how others get round things and then try a few things see what works
