Hi there
Looking for a salutation to turning my gear linkage by 180 degrees. Also known as race gearing or GP. The issue being the arm goes through the frame. Is the a adapter you can buy? Reason for wanting to change is I race another bike that has race gearing. Once I get on the fazer I always put it in 2nd first time after a race and I like the race gearing. Any help or links would be much appreciated

Hi all. I tend to use both. This forum if I have time to look and scroll through all the pages looking for what's relevant at that time. So don't get me wrong you guys are fab. I have been able to add a few guys from Facebook to my friends list. Yes they know what the are talking about as each time I've asked a question there response has been fast and accurate. If I have had a issue they have always seemed to know how to help. Thinking of that I wouldn't be riding my thou now as that was a swap organised via Facebook. Thanks Richard, Chris and Paul of course all you other FB FOC ERS TOO. BOTH TEAMS KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK BOTH ARE NEEDED

The best tyres to go for are Pirelli supercorsas. Look on eBay go for a 120 front and 160 rear you will not believe the difference they make. I have done 5 tracks days on the same set and they are awesome, so much so I have started to hit the generator cover on fast left handers. I have another day booked at Bedford autodrome on the 25th and can't wait. You will need to make some jack up plates for you foot pegs though.
Thanks mate I will have a good look. I was at Bedford aerodrome last month on the 27th now heading to brands on the 6th. Good to see I'm nit the only foccer on the track. I'm waiting for my USB with my pics on them then I'll share.

Hi guys I ride a fazer 600 1998. With 15w oil in the forks and stiffer rear suspension. I have done my first day on the track with maxxis at standard size . was okay but I think woth the right tyre I could get more in the corners. Also don't want to waste my road tyres. My burning question is how much larger can I go. I can get my hands on some scrubs from bsb supercorsa they are 180/60/17 rear 120/60/17. Cheers for any input

So about 6 months I bought my fazer 600 1998 for just £800 (sold my 125 for the same amount ) I habe not stopped loving it since. Spent a little here and there on her to make sure she runs and stops fine. So over the last few weeks I thought it was time to give her a little face lift. I hope you all like the results. Still a few bits to do over the winter I will update this post every now and then. Enjoy

Thanks for the link. This is one I have seen before. I get that these are yamaha color codes but they can't be used by any color mixing company's. On my label under the seat it has only the letter B. I have had it scanned to find out its not just Black it has matalic in it. I think the code I was given today was Nissan Gt1. There must be somewhere out there where we can get the right codes. I want to keep the original color on the bike.
Thanks

Hi all. I'm looking to do some extra body work on my 1998. I have some side panels that I wish to paint in the original color. I have done some research but not really getting the result I was wishing for. I have the sticker under the seat but this only has the letter B on it for my color code. My bike is matalic black. Does anyone know of where I can get the code from. Really want to started on spraying.
Thanks

Guys easy way to stop the rattle on the chain adjusters. When you have You have done you adjusting and are ready to do up your axle to the right torque settings put a spanner in between you chain and sprocket at the top and pull the wheel towards you gently. This will pull everything nice and tight. Hope that helps some what.

: sorry for the late answers guys. I thought I would get notifications if I got a reply on this post. Sorry headlights are sold. Tool kit was not part of the pieces I received. The 2 washers for the rear axle if you mean the ones that go through on the back wheel next to the chain adjusters I still have these. I still have the frame and seat and I would be willing to ship these to the Shetland we would just need to come up with a courier and get them sent up to you.
