I've changed the sign-up question again (although it's an easy question it usually shuts spammers up for a while, presumably English not being their language) and have deleted a bunch of suspicious accounts opened in the past week. Hopefully there will be only a bit of spam to come and then all quiet until they work out what country Italians come from ;)

ps Can you think of any more questions that are dead easy and that everyone (not necessarily British or well educated) will know?

So a question like "What year was the battle of Hastings?" may not mean anything to non-Brits. 'How many cylinders has the Fazer' is tricky because it could be 4 or four and the software only takes one 'correct' answer.

The question shouldn't need a Wikipedia lookup as it will put people off and is unnecessary - the previous question "Where does Yamaha come from" although simple kept the spammers away for a few months.

Its the equiverlent of cold calls on your phone just trying to sell you something you dont want or need ! but with emails they can have files attached especailly Zip. files which once opened steal your data passwords and anything of interest
some have viruses built into them which will crash your comp as well

Spam normally comes from unknown email addresses but not always  so if in doubt delete
