I Want to buy either fzs 1000 bars or a set of renthal 758, not too worried about condition( as long as their not bent)so if anyone has either for sale and

Having decide to twat a Lucozade lorry head on last April on my 1000 , and sworn I'd not own a bike again   I decided to look at Toms' Fazer


last week...soooooo glad I did, and am now the proud new owner of Toms' pride and joy.


Rode her back to my yard  (105 miles from Toms') brilliant !! Planted ,thanks to reworked suspenders and plenty of beans..


Rode from Toms' pad, and the first 5 yards you'd think I'd never been on a pushbike let alone a motorbike !!


A massive thank you to both Tom and his wife for their hospitality, and I know Tom is gutted to sell his Fazer but she has gone to a good home, so worry

I think it's a very fine thread,but there are fork rebuilds on this site that mention removal isn't a great idea..also somewhere a picture showing compression adjusters in cross section ( after removal from a seized unit )..I found out a lot about fork rebuilds on here before doing mine

As long as the balancing dot on the new tyre is in line with the valve,balancing should be easy.. no need to remove anything..

Mike you ivanised my brand new thou back in 2003 and I rather expect I was one of the first..(I think it was around Bristol area??) Since I returned to the fold a couple of years ago,I realised how much influence and knowledge you have as the Master of the Thou...

my mistake there    I didn't realise the FZ1 had coils (modern tech)..

If you were closer to me I'd be after this...

some year R1 valves fit... there's a set of R1 headers on ebay for £62 (2001 /5jj model) someone or search here will tell you if it's the right one..

for touring I reckon that's a great screen I don't think it's too bad... it's windblast pottering about for a days riding that does my head in

sounds like jets are gummed up..have you tried running some petrol additive or similar just to see if it helps..??
