clocks go forward Bourton run
« on: 06 March 2014, 05:33:12 pm »
Usually on or around this time we do the first Bourton run
And as this was one drillers favorite haunts thought I'd get the ball rolling
So guess first Sunday after clocks change

Any comments welcome

What route are you planning to take , if the A433 via Cirencester , then I guess meeting somewhere on the ring road North of Bristol wood be good .

Mind if I tag along? :P

I was planning the A433 and A429 as well - enjoyed the route earlier this month when I took the same roads up to Leicester :)

As long as its not insanely early I don't mind - took me just under and hour to get from my front door to Stow-on-the-Wold which is just north of Bourton-on-the-Water (what's with all the hyphenated names around this area ?!)

Is it just a ride-to and meet, then go home, or is anyone planning a route from Bourton?

Its a meet so the ride is to there and back groups from near areas organise to ride there in their local groups.

Not really an early bird myself , will wait and see what the general consensus is .

Depending on what happens, I was going to potentially do a run up Fish Hill as its only a 30 mile round trip from BotW :)
