Hi Ebay seems to be the best bet at the moment £160 for the GIVI 47L carbon tech. Cheers for the pic!! I suppose its function more than anything else! No box makes a bike look great lol

Good point about the weight cheers! its mainly to stash my riding gear in when i arrive at a job as i cannot take it in with me. if i could get a helmet and jacket or helmet and Leather jeans in a 37L i would be happy but if not might have to be the big un!

on a side point looking at the image under the box on the end of the arms i can see a grey mount with Givi written on. Were these part of the mounting plate or part of the rack arms?

I have received the arms and the bolts but thats it. When the mounting plate came its an M5 plate which turns out to be the wrong one as i need an M3 plate. But will the M3 plate come with all fixings to mount to the arms or are the arms missing these?

Thanks for pics and help guys! :)

Hi i know this is a strange one but i am looking to get a top box for my fzs600 but am struggling between the 37 litre and 47 litre i am after a new black carbon effect one from Givi range. Does anyone have a 47 litre box on their bike? Does it look too big? Or has anyone got any pics they would share? Its a big outlay to get it wrong and i've not got any Givi stockists near me so cannot physically go and try it.

Cheers folks!

i wired up the other light to use both elements in the h4 bulb, and removed the cover on the h1.
to be honest, it made bugger all difference,  i was riding home last night doing 35mph on the country roads (60 limit) and really couldnt have gone any faster, as i couldnt see shit!!
Your right, it won't make any difference if your still using the standard bulbs :b
Makes a slight difference using Orsam nightbreakers or the Phillips equivalent but you'll get more light from HID bulbs if you get the right ones :)
Try and get a pic as they are now, and then when you change them and you'll see the difference, plus it's good for the forum people :)

I for one would like to see some comparison pics if poss. I am deliberating over which route to take with lights. which Hids to get and where from. On here people seem to rate HID4U. About £90 though i think. Anyone recently tried HiDs and found them reliable?

Lovely bike in good condition. Got any mods/new bits lined up?

Cheers fella! yeah its nice and clean only 13k and FSH. Its got a kind of 1980s look which i really like for some reason???

Gonna treat it to some braided brake lines, Twin Headlight modification then a GIVI rack and box (black and Grey reflectors), then hopefully a MRA Screen and some R&G Bar ends and crash bungs.

That little lot will take me a while to get but its nice to have something to mess with. I really not sure what size GIVI Box to get, 47L looks HUGE but want summit to take my lid and pants. A trip to the shops to check them out will help.

Your bike? Happy with it done many mods yourself?

Hi all hoping to pick up a 2001 FZS 600 next week so thought i would join up and see what going on. I sold my VFR750 about a year ago which i had for 10 years. (Arrival of twins and trying to being sensible etc) but soon got the itch for another bike.

Hope to get to know a few on here and get some good tips and advice.

Cheers All!!
