Hello Dave, yes you know who I am talking about, and every accessory on there were original parts, and yes they cost loads, what I was pissed off about mainly was, the bike I purchased from them had akrapovic exhaust and tail tidy and hugger already fitted from new, it was a demo bike to show what it can look like with those parts added so I actually paid more than a standard fazer for it, they said its going to cost me more as those parts are already fitted, but when I wanted to trade it, they were giving me a price without those parts fitted, which I thought was totally unfair, as I was just returning bike as you say even better than what I was when I got it. oh well they lost out in the end, cant wait to pick my new ZZR 1400 up in March now lol steve

Its ok, Kawasaki dealer up the road gave me a great deal on it, just over £1000 more than the shop where I purchased it from, although to be fair I am buying a bike from them for £14000, and they are holding the price they are giving me till March next year so the new bike will have 2014 plate on it, so all in all, I got a reasonably good deal that im happy with. steve

Hi guys, just been given a really bad price for trade in for my fazer 8, its kitted out with everything, so just waiting to find out if I will get same price if bike was put back to bog standard, if they say yes, then I will be selling off all my extras that have been fitted, the list is as follows, Viper Blue seat colw, viper blue belly pans, ASV levers, Crash Bungs, Akrapovic Exhaust, Silver FZ8 Radiator protector, and I have also changed the main suspension on it, more details for that can be supplied later, is there anybody interested in maybe purchasing any of them, I would put the bike up for sale as is, but its still under finance to need to clear that. steve

Hi JDal the acrobpvik sounds great, if you are local to selly oak birmingham you can come and hear it, got 145mph out the bike a couple of months ago, i think that was top end as well, but was at least 1.5 stone heavier then, so should try it again, may get it closer to 150 now lol, the levers are great, better than the standard ones, also had the suspension re vamped now, but i guess you dont have to do that for yours if you have a new one, they changed the main shock on the new mondels, beefed it up a bit, i kept bottoming mine out lol anyway safe riding lol steve

Hi there, i got all my parts for my bike from here http://www.yamaha-motor.eu/uk/accessories/index.aspx?productCode=FZ8-SA&redirect=false, and my headlight mod was done at streetbike in halesowen birmingham, i think basicly they wired into the other headlight, they said the main beam light has a dipped on it that isnt used so they just wired it in so it is used, had no problems at all with over heating, all works great, hope that helps!

hi simon forgot to mension, with the tail tidy, i took out the main bar as well, if you go to the linked website and look the part up, it shows a long extended piece, i just took that out so it bought the number plate right up under the back, much better there, as you say, standard one does stick out way too far out the back steve

i phil, sounds like you had a result mate, my bike goes in for its first service on friday, having a main stand fitted at the same time, also they will be looking at the headlight mod they done a couple of weeks ago. had my bike done so both dipped headlights come on instead of just one side, but the main beam side turn off when main beam is on like its supposed to Regards steve

Hi guys, just thought i would post a message about fazer 8 accessories, why are they so expensive, over the past few weeks i have purchased a couple, i purchased a plastic seat cover replacement from yamaha at a cost of £166 colour coded, that seems a bit expensive for what it is, but hey it looks good on the bike. My bike goes in for its first service on 27th this month and am having a main stand fitted, at a cost of £160 fitted! i will soon be getting another two pieces of colour coded plastic parts ( Sub Cowling ) also £160 can you see a pattern here lol. i checked today for Roller Protectors these are £109 for the pair, oh but they do have FZ8 stamped on them lol. so since having the bike, i would have spent nearly £600 on accessories! . there you go, just thought i would let you all know lol regards steve
