Is it to support throwover panniers? Cant see another reason unless it protects the tailpiece in a spill....

goodness only knows. So tempted to buy it. NOT. The Renntec has severely limiting capabilities and disposable finish without try to add extra mass and luggage to it.

Some things that come up for sale on there really beggar belief. I wonder what I could do with my, now, spare Sport rack in the shed?
 
Maybe we could start a thread with the MOST RIDICULOUS MODIFICATIONS as a title?

good idea, that would be zero in my case.Extra lights on the bike but apart from reflective piping on the jacket, bugger all on me  :D

perhaps you can put padding around those arm rest/spear thingies and pretend that your fazer is a really gold wing. Having said that youve got to admire the guys err,
