Does anyone know where I can get stainless steel front brake pad slider pins?
I've been looking everywhere (and I can find the caliper mounting bolts) but nobody seem to do the pad pins for the floating caliper. The OEM ones are made from cheese, so I've just rounded one off :(

Have you tried here
www.pro-bolt.com/stainless/stainless-steel-motorcycle-special-parts/stainless-steel-caliper-pad-pins-grub-screws.html (http://www.pro-bolt.com/stainless/stainless-steel-motorcycle-special-parts/stainless-steel-caliper-pad-pins-grub-screws.html)

They don't appear to do the front bolts I need, but I'll give them a call.

Unfortunately they say they don't do the pins I need :(
Anyone know how much it would cost to get some fabricated if I can't find a supplier?

Floating caliper?
Normal pad pins work fine, and how do you 'round one off'???
If you feel you need an upgrade look on Ebay for "FZS 600 brake caliper pad pins titanium"

how do you 'round one off'???
When it's stuck and, as you apply force with a spanner, instead of it turning the bolt, you discover you're just actually just scraping off the "points" on the hexagonal head because the metal is cheap and soft.
Anyway, a nice poster on the FB Foc-U forum is now sorting out a set for me :thumbup

You mean caliper bolts then.
Pad pins are what hold the pads in place, with the two circlips.
Still better off with steel bolts though, that are made for the job, just use sockets rather than spanners.
Better still, a six sided socket, rather than 12, and you'll never have any problems.
I don't even torque them anymore, i just get the feel to nip them up then a tad more, they're not going anywhere in a hurry as there's no real stress on them.
