Anyone going? Nice and central for lots of folks to get to. The Haynes Motor Museum Show gave me a taster, but this should be much bigger/better.

Sounds good Nick... I cant' confirm until closer to the time; however you can put me down as a definite maybe... We could meet up on route (The Air Baloon or the Fosse Way +/-)...  ;)

Been to this show a few times. It's well worth a look, particularly if you like to see classic Japanese bikes in concours trim. There is a large outdoor area which is mainly autojumble & trade stalls, with quite a few whole bikes for sale, leading down to the indoor halls with all the minter display bikes and more trade/jumble/n.o.s stuff. They usually have an auction of bikes on the sunday as well. The only downside if you are travelling by car, which a lot do,cos they are hoping to go home with lots of parts for their restoration projects,is the usual to queue to get in & parked up.Recommended  viewing. :).

...just watched the video on the link, yep that pretty much sums it up,except it looks like maybe that was filmed on the Friday setting up (it gets a lot busier than that!).Bet the owners of those Z1's in the vid had their hearts in their mouths! :D.

I'm told that car parking can be a bugger there, cos loads of people go in cars to load up with spares 'n' stuff from the autojumble. If not biking weather, I'll probably give it a miss, but let's think positive  :)

Car parking is accross the road, there is now a pedestrian underpass which takes you into the showground.

It's not the actual parking that can be a bit of a pain if you go by car,but the length of the queue stretching up the road to get into the car park which can go all the way along Weston road,Queensway and a bit.Still well worth a look tho :).The underpass has been there for years.

Hi red, i'm going, on bike, I'm just over in Derby only 35 miles away so probably not worth meeting up on way there, but will aim to be there for about 11 and so if would like to meet up there say hello and grab a cup of tea drop me a text or call me on any time. Who else is coming? Andy

Just got in.....great show, can reconmend the wall of death, so good I saw it twice.. :lol..plenty in the jumble but I thought prices were a bit high,£10 for secondhand haynes manual   :rolleyes or is it me.....got a pair of waterproof thermal lightweight gloves for a tenner, wore them home, a good buy  :).....inside, the show bikes were the usual high standard, a lot more jap bikes than when I went a few years ago...also got a good subscription deal on my favorite mag, classic motorcycle mechanics,10 issues for £20 delivered he also threw in the back issue I wanted free....bargain...4 hrs wandering around and met andybesy.nice meeting you andy......if your going, dont miss the wall of death, another bargain at  £2.50   :thumbup....pictures to follow, if your going tomorrow look away now  :lol
