I have a givi tank lock (BF05) on my FZ1 that Im not using, if you get me the exact/accurate hole spacing of the cap on your tank I will see if it will fit

Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner / Ohlins YA-009 rear shock for fz1: fitment« on: 11 May 2024, 06:55:08 pm »
So this was the only place I could fit the pre-load adjuster and even then it was a tight fight. routing the hydroic hose from the shock to the adjuster was also a pain, I had to route it under the ABS unit, between the unit and the protective plastic splash cover.
Can I ask if anyone else has fitted an ohlins to their FZ1 and do they have photos..? 13
General / Backpack recommendations - big enough to put a helmet inside.« on: 09 May 2024, 09:01:45 pm »
Before I get on the phone to Infinitiy, Sportsbikeshop etc, I thought I would check on here and see if anyone suggest a backpack that you can fit a helmet inside..? Im guessing 30L or bigger. Budget is £100 and it would be handy if it has zippable side pockets.
My old Hien Gericke backpack was a 31L and I could just about fit a helmet inside. 14

Fazer 1000/FZ1 corner / Re: Gen 1 Exhaust header rear mounting bracket?« on: 18 April 2024, 09:53:48 am »
@Dave, the brackets are at the lowest point on the bike, where they will catch all the crap coming off the road. Thus they will corrode and fail.
MY only issue with bikeshops doing that is have to make sure they dont scratch/scuff the underside of the headers. |
