Here's mine showing the topbox, it's on the bike 99% of the time as I stick my helmet and gloves in it when I park at the work, useful when we stop on runs to do the same.
It's actually a kawasaki topbox but that's made by givi, so I just put reflective tape over the kawasaki badge :)
I carry a cargo net under the seat as well as you never know when your out and see something you want :)

That is one sexy looking fazer, where'd you get the box from? I am just thinking throw over panniers and a rucksack with a cargo net on the back seat may be less hassle, haha.

The topbox came from when I had my er6 but when I got this bike it had a rack on.it so it was just bolt on and job done tbh
As saud earlier, I just put on reflective tape over the kawasaki sign on the back and it's actually made by givi :)

Don't know why that pic is on??

My wife Liz used a Givi top box and Oxford soft panniers on her Fazer 100 when touring (as in pic below). Now she uses a newer top box and Krauser panniers (same as on my FJ in the pic) which we took off her VF 750.

Our son now has the old Givi box on his Fazer 600 (2nd pic below) and uses the Oxford panniers when we go touring (great kit, cheap, expandable, durable) - we'd recommend them all.

As a reminder how old the top box is (and it still works flawlessly), here's our son who now rides the 600, behind his mum, using the Givi as a backrest on a touring holiday 12 years ago.

I have not got it yet, but I am looking to buy a tankbag that can fit my huge 15" laptop. So far the best one I found is SW Motech Bags Connection series the model is Evo Sport and it is 40 x 34 cm. My laptop is 38 x 28. Most tankbags are tiny often too narrow. Even "touring" ones rarely have width more than 25cm.

I've got top boxes in the past - good space, comfty to leave your helmet there, do not like them now.

It really depends what do you want. For touring you can get saddle bags and tail bags too.

You'll probably find it easier to get a smaller laptop that you can fit in the vast array of available bags out there. :)

Tank bags are a certain size for a reason, if they go too big they will hinder your steering which you realy do not want.

Nonfango top box and panniers on the 600, cargo tank bag. The panniers are slightly narrower than the Handlebars which makes it great for touring and filtering because if the mirrors get through the gap the panniers will
Modifying brackets for the Givi carrier on the 1000 to take the nonfango panniers
Picture shows the 600 fully kitted after returning from Southern France and Northern Spain a few years ago.
I use a Kriega R20 rucksac which takes a laptop in an neoprene sleeve

love the colour coded top box!

anyone painted a top box to match the bike? any recommendations? I'd imagine a primer followed by spray paint and a clear coat?

I use  the Krauser K-Wing-system. I have only pics of the carrier system on my bike

Here is the complete system with K3 panniers and K4 top box on the bike from which I bought it:
