Not a Fazer, but still a Yamaha :)
« on: 12 April 2014, 11:32:47 am »
Was going to ride down to Donnington on Sunday to watch my bro race this bike he just finished building (well, still not quite there :) ) but we are now taking our daughter with us so going in the car!

Anywho, here is his bike, its tiny!!  Very fast, was flying past R1's at Anglesey when he took it there for a shakedown test last week.

That's a sweet bit if retro there, it's almost a shame to track it!
Stop polishing it and ride the bloody thing!!

Thundersport golden era superbike class.

Lots of mods really...

824cc big bore. Carillo titanium rods. Thunderace pistons. Ported head. Cams. Frame opened and rubber vibe damping removed, welded back up. 1198 ducati forks  brembo brakes and radial master cylinder.  Full race body work . Ally petrol tank. Fancy ignition etc. Lifo batterys. Marcencini wheels. Ohlins shock with remote pre load adjuster... hours of labour :) re
