DAB radio.
Been a tiny bit of rearranging in my department at work, and whilst doing so my guvnor mentioned my hi-fi system on my bench "looks like it needs updating".
Admittedly it does look a bit dated, but it was also attached to a couple of two foot high Kenwood speakers so it sounded bloody great to me.
So when he came past a bit later I cheekily said "Why don't you order me a new system?" and he stared at me, rolled his eyes then said "Just order one."
So I ordered a new, much more compact system, which sounds (not as) good, but it comes with DAB+ radio channels, Bluetooth, etc.
Great, or so I thought, but I'm now getting to realize how difficult it is to master the DAB reception, even more so across all channels.
The footprint is so narrow per channel, and yesterday when it rained it sounded like it was raining indoors with interference.
Tried splitting it into the tv aerial socket on my bench and it didn't work at all, then got the cable type aerial it came with extended so I could get it up higher but today it's had a hissy fit again.
Just ordered a proper indoor DAB aerial to see if that helps at all.
