Ah - but there's places outside Laaadan :lol

Plenty of peeps speeding on the motorway too, but no-one ever has a go at them ;)

Oh - and I get pissed of by red light jumpers too. Had an 'interesting' exchange with a woman a few yrs ago who did and didn't like being congratulated when she did stop for one :lol :lol :lol (I was on me pushbike at the time, kept stopping but caught her up every time)

'Poxy cyclists, are they allowed to jump red lights?'

nope. Same as bikers aren't allowed to speed or have loud cans. But that's different innit. Tosser :moon

General / Re: Hi-vis law in France and Ireland passed, who's next??
« on: 21 January 2012, 06:48:54 pm »
I don't have a problem with hi-vis. I usually wear on the Fazer, and wear bright colours on the pushbike. (Makes me laugh when peeps ask me why I don't wear a push-bike helmet when they're wearing black/grey in the winter!). It's all about taking responsibility for you own safety, and if it moves the odds a few points in my favour, job done! Just cos I ride a m/bike doesn't make some kind of rebel against humanity, it's cos it avoids jams and is fun :)

Oh go on then Bert - I have music in me ears when riding alone. At a 'sensible' volume. And guess what - I can hear more than without, as the 'plugin' earphones stop the wind noise which as motorcyclists we all know can be quite loud.

And I can certainly hear more than when I'm in me nice soundproofed Saab ;)

Now if I spent 5k on a car stero and turned it up, would I hear a car, or even an ambulance' siren....

So not as obviously bad as you might think. He just didn't look.

I've looked for a bigger/original one, no joy. Probably does need starting from scratch, but my talents lie at the other end of things....

Can't find the original, and need a bigger one of these
(3x the size, I can the reduce as needed). White background becoming transparant would be good!

I've tried just making it bigger, but it doesn't have the res to look decent.

There's a possibility that the local rugby club's firework display caused a lot of smoke on the mway, coupled with the poor conditions.

The Mrs drove down earlier that afternoon, said she couldn't see sometimes the rain was so heavy, but people still speeding past her.

'For a FWD cars it should be enough to replace front with winter tyres, but for the RWD all four should be replaced. '

Noooooo!!!!  Probably unroadworthy, dangerous and no insurance.

Trouble is, ABS is bad news in snow - too slippery for it to work properly!

Does that help when your're braking?
