Throttle hesitation
« on: 29 April 2014, 05:14:08 pm »
The off/on throttle hesitation on my 07 FZ has become a real issue since I started using the bike for MotoGymkhana. I've got to solve it somehow, I have a PC III fitted but this hasn't helped although I have yet to try many maps. I've read of having the ECU reflashed but I don't know what that is or if anyone in the Uk would/could d it. Anyone got any ideas about how to reduce or eliminate the hesitation?

Have you had a custom map for it mate - with each cylinder being individually mapped?

Think I'll have to have it mapped on a dyno or find someone with a map who's already had it done.

ISTR seeing somewhere a mod that you could plug in to trick the ECU into thinking the throttle hasn't closed and thus stopping it from cutting the fuel.

TBH with the PCIII in and just on the standard zero map I've not noticed much hesitation if any, even when going Motogymkhana.
