How about an FZS400 area?
« on: 28 September 2011, 12:04:01 am »
Seeing as how the FZS 400 is the Daddy of all Fazers and the rest of the Fazer family are off springs of it. I was wondering we could give it the repect it deserves and have a FZS400 section? All of the other model Fazers have their own section and there is no real gathering of information anywhere on the web for 400 so if there was a section here with information in it, it could be a good way to get new members in. What do you guys think?

Thanks for the suggestion. I must say I've only ever seen 1 fazer 400 and she no longer owns it, so I don't think the demand is there.

funny that. theres plenty of them where i am. maybe there wasn't many of them imported into the UK. the thing is theres no sites on the internet that have imformation on them so if there was a section on here you'd be getting people from all over the world logging on not just from the UK. having said that i dont know anything about setting up forums so maybe it would be too much hassle

Would you be prepared to tag them if someone made some cards? (In Ireland, not all over the world :eek )

It's there and there's room for the Fazer 150.

Any of that would be great, but proably the best would be its promotion to the 400's owners. You're still ok doing that?

didn't know they existed but a very good idea, as otherwise info on these bikes will be scattergunned all over the site,  so I'd vote yes.    Although we have a separate tyre area (yes? on this site)  you regularly see tyre threads for the small fazer in General,  and the big one in the thou corner.   They are all replied to in situ,  but again would get lost eventually,  unless keen eyed admin moved the thread when it died to it's proper repository.

just a suggestion. would there be a way of making people sign up before they are able to download the manuals? or have a minimum number of post before they can download them?

'Fraid not, although if it were we would just get a bunch of crap posts by people we'd never see again ;) TBH all the ones I put up were already on the net somewhere so I'm not too bothered.

That's covered in the "Fazer 400 and other models" forum. If enough 750 owners joined up and there were many 750 discussions then, sure, a 750 forum would be worth it.
