Hey Mattsplat, have you got any links where we can read about your travels, London to China especially sounds pretty epic! Or maybe you could put a new thread up and tell us a bit. With loads of piccies of course, we loves piccies!
Will get around to starting a thread when I have a few hours free

just got a second hand pc3 off e bay from a bloke in ireland. he had a full Ti acra too, but i stopped bidding at 450, it went for 515, i'll settle for a decent end can. i'll book mine inta BSD at peterborough for the mapping, along with the airbox mods, once i get back off me hols in a coupla weeks. tim, i gotta tell the seller to hold off posting for ten days as i wont be here, but ifn you want me to ask him to send it to you so you can try his full system map out, then post it onto me in two weeks thas no problemo...
It wouldnt have been this one would it
You were bidding against me for the titanium Akra and I won it for £515 I also wanted to go for the PCIII as well but after spending so much on the zorst I couldnt bring myself to bid on it. Still, the Akra looks like new and was less than half of the new price, even if it was a little more than I would have liked to have paid, but I blame you for that Ogri, I was sure I was gonna get it for 450 but 'Its gonna be mine' fever took over
Matt, what condition are your original down pipes in? mine have had a salty first 3 years, discoloured
The original pipes are in pretty good condition, except one pipe looks rusty on the inner side where it couldnt be cleaned.

Couldnt live with it how it was, felt like a 600... After my first ride, I bought a full Akrapovic Ti racing system, that helped wake it up. Second ride, realised I needed the AIS blockoff plates. Fitted block off plates. Third ride, realised she would like more air so I fitted a DNA filter but the zorst was so loud I realised I needed a Db killer. Db killer fitted, went for my fourth ride, still wasnt happy with the power delivery. Sent my ECU off for a reflash and yesterday was my fifth ride and Im now happy with how she runs

Ive fitted R&G bar ends, frame crash bungs, front axle bungs, Rear axle bung, casing sliders and swingarm bobbins. Probably get some crash bars in the future as all this protection pays for itself the first time you have a spill of any kind.

I wouldnt work without music, I dont ride without music. But if Im hooning with my mates and the 'tempo' starts getting a bit frantic, then I turn it off, its time to focus!
Isnt it ALWAYS time to focus?????
I would have thought the same .
OK, that was an incorrect choice of word. I mean when its time to get my 'race face' on

New oil and filter, twiddled with the suspension and got confused by the rebound being on the right fork top and the compression being on the left...
I am correct about the rebound/comp being on different fork legs arent I....???

Hi everyone. Im Matt, Englishman living in Belgium. Just got rid of my K1300R and bought a 2009 FZ1S as my neck and back wont let me ride anything with a 'low' steering. Bit dissapointed with the power delivery, doesnt seem to do anything under 7k rpm but its way more comfy than the K was, I have the comfort seat which helps. No real plans to do anything with it except Ive fitted a larger rear sprocket to help liven it up a bit and crash protection throughout. Bungs, casing sliders, swingarm bung, Bar ends etc... Im sure I'll get to know you over time with dumb ass questions and sarcastic answers
