At least you got away with it. Would have been a nice courtesy for them to leave a note with a contact no., but I guess that's people for you...
Exup stayed in Brighton so he could go to a club called The Blue Lagoon later...
Went out for a decent ride finally and thoroughly enjoyed it Got lost once and had a memory lapse on my way home trying to figure out where I was hahaFound a small road by accident with some lovely scenery and it was so quiet - no noise from roads or motorways etc
Jeez Mick, you could fall in that paint and drown!
Took a ride out to the Malvern Hills, about 140 miles covered in all. Some good views, in some places as far as what I took to be Brecon Beacons, but very few places to stop to take them in. Apart from a couple of fag breaks, hardly stopped at all. Crossing the Cotswolds on the way, a lot of wash-out (loose gravel washed from hills in recent rain), so some dodgy cornering, especially in tree shaded bits where it was hard to spot til last minute. But an enjoyable ride, done at a steady pace rather than balls-out! Did stop at British Camp for a coffee, but couldn't be arsed to climb hill to the fort! Took about 4 hours in all, which makes me think with an early start, Wales is now reachable for a day ride (occasionally).
Met mr steeeve66 just outside m25/a2 @ 9 and we went to margate and had some breccy by the sea. Then we just bombed it to brighton. Wicked day :-))Did u like the creativeness in that piccy. I'm very proud of that. Cheers steve
