Rode to work in the cloud down the A1 then back in sunshine on A/B roads.

First commute. Job done.

Perfect bike.  :D

Put the fazer on the trailer & set off for a trouble free drive home to wales, leaving scotland at 0930am :) .....350 miles later & the car decided to die :\ .

An RAC visit followed by a recovery truck followed by an eventual recovery home seen me walk through the door at 1110pm :'(

On the plus side the  :faz is ok 8) , & my only reliable transport! 8)
Easiest way to go fast........don't buy a blue bike

Yeah, but Noggy, you're back, you've got the bike AND IT'S STILL SUNNY! :) :)  And it looks like you had a good time - more pluses than minuses in my book. 8)

Nothing. Why? Cos it looks like I've come down with a viral infection - was sitting in the garden in hot sunshine with a pullover on, shivering! Someone cheer me up... :'(

Cut my recently aquired double bubble screen  ,it was lifting the airflow to a stupid height, right at your head, doh,

So Sunday will prove if the clean air undisturbed is quieter than disturbed air.

Thought about the smart gold chains !!!!!!!! :rolleyes

So cleaned the sideplates , bought some metallic gold, brass airfix paint and painted it,,the only way to see if it stays on is to try it  :eek

Dabbing the paint on with a pad of kitchen roll

There,, all blingy for £1.70

Leave it in the sun for a couple of hours to bake then re-lube the chain ,i never cleaned the whole chain, just the sideplates with white spirit.

So the cut down screen and gold chain,,haha, it's coming together.

Written in retrospect: balanced carbs - took about 40 minutes, a lot of which was spent squinting for adjustment screws :rolleyes A squirt of WD40 helped as they then glint in the sunlight.

I never used to trust aftermarket oil filters, as one mechanic told me they're generally not very well made - anybody else heard similar?
