Did the usual daily commute to work. Got here early and cleaned the underside of the fender in prep for putting on a fender extender when I get home tonight...

My nice new shiny downpipes from motad arrived today along with my new footpegs and ordered a new clutch cable

also cleaned up the gear change linkage and numerous small brackets that will be painted over the next few days!

Last night I put on my new double bubble and fender extender. The bubble completely changes the look of the bike and for me is the way the Fazer should be

Feels more like I'm IN the bike when putting head down

tried to put my new battery on, and it does not fit, tried all ways no chance, the shop says it is the right one, but its smaller and wider, so getting a refund, but that means another week with no bike, so may aswell do the exup, and oil change over the weekend, got some of them bright bulbs to put on to.

I decided last night that it would a great idea to ride the 170~ miles from Chelmsford to Bristol in the dark, wet and absolutely ridiculous fog as to avoid the planned rain today... turns out there is now no planned rain... god damn weather prediction!!

Having sailed through the mot yesterday, adjusted chain this morning, heading up towards Banbury today. Cold but dry, perfect. Thanks to Exupnut for keeping me company yesterday while the mot got sorted. Remind me not to go to that pub again though!

Weird, something must have been stuck in the joint. Got it on the main stand, poked it a couple of times with my boot, still stuck.

My mate grabbed it with his hand and it moved. I'm thinking that it must have twisted a bit as my full weight could not move it but a wiggle did, now it's back to normal.

Will keep an eye on it.

Well i made some finishing touches to my carbon fibre faced side panels,you've prob already seen chris's excellent attempt,alas i had already focced mine up by the time chris wrapped his

but anyway i've persevered & they dont look too bad from a distance

Im going with a k&n theme after buying my filter,tony hart eat yur heart out,it sure wont be to everyones taste but hey its only a couple o spare panels & a splash of colour.

I'll post some pics up when i get them back on the bike.mainly because
