Are the indicators also i tegrated into th rear light then?

The led light does have indicators built in but as yet I have not wired them in, cannot decide whether to or not as they can only be seen from behind and not from the side which I understand is a possible mot fail.
I might do it and still keep the other indicators on as well but another thought that crossed my mind was the flash rate might alter with the led indicators plus the originals working through the same circuit.

this was on way back to dusseldorf after the weather cleared up - lucky as setting off the morning after to the hook for the boat it pissed down at leerdam and didnt stop so was lucky to do 70

had 185 kmh here before but new record  - bike was showing 151 mph

Hairnet arre you saying 216kph =151mph or that was what the speedo was saying? 216 kph = 134 mph. looks as if you had a decent trip mind, shame you did not get decent weather all the way.

It was rather reluctant, but eventually started with no choke and no throttle - it seemed to really not like either of these when starting

Weather was kind all day, not much traffic about (are you listening Skippernick?    ), about 320 miles covered. Booked in for new Pilot Road 2s tomorrow afternoon - ancient, crappy BT021s ( ) that came on the bike will soon be nothing but a bad memory 

Oh, and destroyed a Merc SL in a traffic light GP on the way home - think it's time I grew up

Almost finished the replacement of sprockets and chain, although getting the rear wheel back in place was a bugger of a job!

Unfortunately there's no way of tightening up the front sprocket nut with the Yamaha 32mm wrench, so I decided to get a socket one of those, but the nearby shop was out of stock, so I'll (finally!) finish it off tomorrow :-/

Haha, thankfully I thought of that and had the thou running whilst it was helping boost the 600. It's been my daily workhorse this week as the car ran out of fuel... and I ran out of money

Rode to the Halifax Bank , and was told loudly by one of the battleaxe cashiers  to remove my open face  helmet even though my face could clearly be seen .
Rode to Harrow road to sign off a job .
Rode to Vauxhall dealers on Avon street to get a new near side mirror insert £78 , customer next to me said go to a motor factors opposite Ashton Gate  , where you can get the glass for £ 10 , so that is where I will be heading .

Nice early morning run, loads of cool air, Gen 1 running like a dream, speeds varying between 60 (A roads) and 90 (Motorway) - pulling 60mpg average.

Fitted new oil feeders to my V system (the nozzles and the dual block) When  it was originally fitted by a dealer the inside chain one was rubbing on the sprocket, sorted now. Scott oilers know how to charge for a couple of bits of plastic that's for sure.

Yeah i thought that i get 55mpg out of my 600!!

Well I spent a little time messing around with the cage this morning but then cracked on with working on the Gen1. Got a couple more things done than I had initially planned

Carburettors Balanced
New Fuel Filter
Check, Remove and re-grease the EXUP Valve
Cleaned the nose cone due to excessive fly build-up
Checked tyre pressures (36F / 42R)

had a nice spin around east cork today ,watergrasshill to rathcormac to lismore up over the vee and on to clonmel to carrig on suir and down to the water fall at mahon falls,drove right up to it much to the dissaproval of some tired walkers  back along to dungarvan for food on the quayside and home with a full belly

Last time I rode this road CV712 we were dodging a forest fire and the Guardia Civil politely told us to feck off. Not that we needed any telling. That was about 6 weeks back. I tis nice to see mother nature repairing the damage. Amazing really when you consider we have had practically no rain for months on end until this week.
I left it late to go for a run 17.00 hrs and had the roads to myself as all the folks on holiday were no doubt knocking back the vino during happy hour.
This is just above the village of Pego, Val de Ebo North Costa Blanca.
Sorry about the Pizza box but needs must for the camera gear. You can just see the new lowered front foot rest pegs. Someone asked me if they affect the ground clearance much. Well found out today they do. As I was on my own decided to have a bit of fun, kept scuffing the side of my boots which was a rarity for me before on the standard pegs. But at least I can ride the bike again in reasonable comfort did just on 100 miles.

Just a few more pics from todays run, was nice today especially up in the mountains. It had been raining and the smells from the trees etc! really refreshing. We have been having a heat wave now for well over a month averaging 33/37 degrees today it was 26/28 degrees.

Yeah i thought that i get 55mpg out of my 600!!

Smoothness is the key - carrying speed and energy for as long as possible into corners, no sudden acceleration or braking, a scottoiler helps and I'm running the tyres at 2psi over standard (according to my gauge).
if I'm out with the wife and shes on her VT750, then I'll easily get into the 70's.
This is a standard bike (apart from a Viper can).
