Topped up the oil , as it was a bit low on the site glass , used Silkolene semi synthetic 10w40.

Noggy - stop fannying around with your suspension and get some springs matched to your weight in the front!

Dropping the front as it won't turn in properly with too stiff springs is like putting a plaster on someones bleeding stump after an accident with a chainsaw

Rode the fazer  to the Shakespeare inn at Redland to look at a job , then took it for a nice easy ride around CHew valley to test the new brake pads  did about 40 miles , not gonna have a lot of time to ride either bike over the next fortnight  as i am doing a few extra shifts and a bit of private work  , got to get out while I can .

Washed it....fettled the suspension again.......waited for babysleepoclock & out i went for another little blast.

Visited a local, ancient paper mill that i had heard about...little gem.....blasted down to the beach & then came home.

Forgot to get a pic of the bike being out so heres another of it in th drive for MickVP :b

Oh.......& lets just say that it is amazing what a little bit of pre-load adjustment can do......dare i say it i think im finally happy with it.....my new pilot power 2ct tyres are nice and sticky too, just scrubbed in & ready for more....my rad hose gear shift mod is great too. :)

Fingers crossed, all being well im gonna do a couple hundred miles tomorrow through Wales in the sun & on some of the worlds best roads 8)

Good night :z

Ok so im focced with the cold but just managd this run...only 200 miles but if it was the only run i ever did id be happy :)

It's pretty hard to show how nice the A44 really is but it is corner heaven.....pics look crap but hopefully you can see the trucks etc further down.....these series of corners were so fun i evn went back down the hill just to do them again.

Really happy with my ride, carved some nice corners in sequence & felt in control...if at the edge a bit.....i had vast bits of top road, traffic free when it mattered, views were spectacular.....flying into twisties with enclosures of trees where you insantly felt the nice chill of the shade, sunlight speccled through the trees onto the road.....bit like a playstation game at times.

Tyres got a real caning but stuck like glue....very happy noggy :D

Even did the Beula road in reverse probably the quickest and smoothest ive ever ridden it.

You'll love it mate...some of those big corners are a bit arse twitchy...you've really got to commit to them....i know we all differ but i was taking in them in 5th gear as i was carrying a bit of speed & 5th allowed some engine braking plus when i started feeding the power it wasnt too much....fed too much on one corner, mid way round & had a bit of a squirm from the back tyre but nothing drastic.....& i wouldnt have been doing those corners like that with standard pegs, no way jose ;)

I wont lie by body was in bits after just 200 miles, even with the air hawk, but it was manageable. But that was 200 miles of hooning it so to be expected really.

100 mile round trip. Wrexham, Ellesmere, Oswestry, Vyrnwy, Bala, Corwen, Llandegla, home. Stopped at Bala for dinner and was speaking with a group of bikers from Besancon, France, on their way home from the Isle of Man.

Bled the rear brake again no air but long travel so I'll see how it goes. Gave it a clean out in the sun this afternoon. Finish work at 11am tomorrow so hopefully get out for a few hours in the afternoon,  maybe go up to Scarborough and back over the moors stop at seaways for a cuppa then home for tea make a fuss of the wife maybe even take her out for pint. Ok that's the plan let's see what actually happens.

Installed a new battery, checked if there is a current drain without ignition on but actually there was nothing.
Then checked the charging voltage and everything was fine.
So I am pretty sure that the old battery is gone altough it is only 1,5 years old  :eek
