Got out on the thou finally

Started up first time, but sounded pretty rough. Took it for a spin and the 7k tacho error appeared and the bike felt under-powered (obviously) but after a few miles it seemed to clear its throat and all was well :)

I was going to give it an oil change and re-lube the exup but apparently I've lost my oil pan and can't find my copper slip... so, I guess I'm making a run down to Halfords tomorrow

To Rhos on Sea promenade for coffee at the Cayley cafe, then to Glascoed near St Asaph to watch the Tour of Britain. 100 miles in all.

Had to run an errand for the wife first thing so used the bike to get through the traffic to get to the place that opened at 8, sat around for an hour cos it actually opened at 9. Went home via the Whistlestop Cafe now't like being Billy No Mates on a fine sunny morning.

Sealed up the AIS hole in the box with a bolt.

Cleaned things up with some ACF50.

Changed the spark plugs and then rode to Exeter to try a Honda varadero 1000 for size. Lovely comfy position, but can I bear to part with the fazer for one??????
