Replaced the foccing exup cable.
Tightened chain and managed to badly scratch visor. Luckily they're off centre of visual line
Got trounced by a guy on a blade - I know what the figures say but it still hurts ....
cleaned it after a we brimble
Did 150 miles, went to a small village called Glyncorrwg in the valleys, not far from port talbot, very strange place...i reckon they eat their babies but i kept quiet about that to the mother in law as it's where she's from.I grew up in a purpose built council estate in a new town, a shit hole, but to be expected, but there was something quite saddening about seeing this little old mining village, almost untouched & peaceful & the old miners houses.....& then scabby 80's flats with steel shuttered windows....i mean if your on the dole & up to no good then at least aspire to live somewhere with a bookies....or good broadband signal for the xbox....or mobile signal for your drug deals...or some shops to hang around outside....1 spar shop...which closed at 12 .I walked passed a house, the whole village was deadly quiet...then this guy from inside starts vomiting his guts up & the window is open & it is echoing around the enclosed streets.....it was just really surreal! Anyway my bike didnt get nicked & i focced off outta there, another place seen on the bike but nowhere near as good as the A44 over mid wales so i'll scope that out tomorrow.Noggyfighter performed well at all times.
Wales - land of magnificent castles, beautiful hills and valleys, spectacular roads, excellent café stops. And Noggy visits on his first ride of the year.........................a run down council estate! Way to go Nog, I can see me and Bill are gonna have to show you around your own patch one of these days Glad you got out at last though. Probably headed your way tomorrow, at least they're saying there'll be some sunshine. What happened to the promised week of great weather? I reckon the jetstream's gone so far north, it's come back up south of us again!
Company always welcome Noggy. Got a route planned, will be just short of 400 miles all told for me. A40 inbound, brief stop at Oasis, Abergavenny, then on to West End, Llandovery to take on cargo, yum, yum! Then thinking Llandrindod, Aber, Machynlleth, Newtown, Crossgates. Then a little mountain road I did on my last camping trip, then Builth Wells, back to Oasis and home. Google says 382 miles You up for it boy?! Have checked chain adjustment and lubed; checked tyre pressures &c, all good to go for an early start!
