Got mine out today to clean it cos I couldn`t be bothered (cos it was dark) when I got back from a ride on sunday.

However once I got it out I decided to go for a spin first, cold but dry.

Then washed it when I got back and covered it in ACF 50.

To the guy in the Clio near the front of the queue at the lights who inched over to try and stop me filtering; Foc off  :-D
I have seen this sooooooooooooo many times. And mostly they just make the gap on the other side bigger

Where do you guys live?! Everyone near me either stays where they are or more often than not, moves over to give me room... the west country is certainly a more friendly place it seems. Still fully of crazy people though :P

I live in East Lancashire, they're not all like that... :-)
It will be OK in the end. If it's not OK, it's not the end.

got Hagon rear shock and front suspension springs fitted a while back, then fitted braided brake lines.   Yestrday I fitted new pads and oil& air filter plus oil change and serviced according to Haynes manual.  All sorted ready for the annual pilgrimage to Le Mans in May.......Time for a beer!
This is as young as you're ever going to be!

Tried out my rentec rack and took the 88mile round trip Southampton Hampshire to Shaftesbury Dorset n back Collected some spares for work.     Ah lovely no rucksack lol. Safer too.  Shame is rained for a short while in Dorset.  Back home and quick sponge down and rinse as bike was caked lol.

Oh I also painted the front section of my garage this morn with some Ronseal slate grey floor paint.  looks great and by time I got home it was dry enough to walk on and park bike on it.  just the job.
This week I've been mostly tinkering in the garage

Plenty of people here will warn you of Renntecs and topboxes! One guy (name evades me) was riding along, and found to his dismay one day that his topbox overtook him!

I think it was darrsi who had that experience...

Meanwhile, I'm still on the hunt to pick up a cheap Givi top box. No rush, so I'm biding my time until something comes along :)

Had to ride to work around the SouthCircular through sh*te, wet, salted roads.. Washed it when I got home.
Someone sent me a postcard picture of the earth. On the back it said, "Wish you were here."

Took the top fairing/headlight unit off the Gen 1 to give it a jolly good clean inside. Cleaned all the wiring and cleaned all contacts and reassembled. Stripped the front brake calipers, cleaned and reassembled with new bleed nipples  :rollin and mounting bolts. Fitted new 'Venhill' front brakeline kit that my better half bought me for Christmas. Just got to do my favourite bit now and bleed them up  :'(

Have just stripped my wheels and sent them off to Triple S for powdercoating. Two rear disc bolts snapped, they were drilled out and helicoiled.

Braved the snow and headed up to CMC Chesterfield to get new chain and sprocket kit fitted.

Went for OEM as they were cheap enough on Ebay.

Feels lovely and smooth now. Got 30k out of originals so happy with that.

Cleaned off what was left of last weeks ride round the south circular - tucked up again in garage, 'plugged in' waiting for weather to improve..
