Linky no worky Luke.
Some say that he eats habanero chilli peppers dipped in oil of capsaicin for extra bite and that his pyjamas are made from Nomex. All we know is, he's called Ad the Bad

Y U no filter?  :lol

Camera seems to handle the strong, low sun quite well - my cheapy would definitely struggle with that.

Wet roads - now you gotta clean it again!  :rolleyes

Yeh like I said above
20 min ride
30 min clean

And it was just about dry, dont know where it came from.
I got fed up of being blinded and then on the way back worrying cars couldnt see me coming at them like a zero at 12 oclock out of the sun
I don't do rain or threat there of. dry rider only with no shame.

I managed to get out a bit yesterday as well. There has been some nice opportunities to ride the bike recently, although the ground has typically still been wet. The sun is the most annoying factor but to be honest, I think I'd rather have it out and blinding me than be stuck with an overcast sky - it adds to the atmosphere of the ride ^^

Stuck some white/silver reflective wheel rim tape on it at the weekend, didn't get out on it though. Just carrying on using it to get me the 10 miles to work and back.
Yesterday was the first time out on it that I didn't have "the fear", even though the road was wet. I need to get used to the fact that it can handle corners in the wet.

I'm currently sat outside a Yamaha dealer waiting for them to open so I can hopefully get some new exhaust manifold studs.

 Stud Part Number 90116−06475
Nut Part number 90179−06668
You would need 8 of each if you intend changing them all

Cheers mate, I've ordered 3 to replace the ones that broke. No point in ordering more because I'm probably going to get shot when this job is done.

Not Fazer related, but to do with my Kwak:

Phoned up the garage again yesterday. Amazingly, there is some good news! Looks like the head gasket is OK, but the radiator fan is fucked. Possibly a blocked pipe too? Anyway, hopefully I'll get it back need weekend, and the restoration will begin.

I thought I'd better have a look at my steering head bearings today, the previous owner (a mate) says they were last adjusted/checked at 20,000 miles-ish. The bike is now showing 59,810 miles. Blimey.
I jacked the front of the bike up and removed the top yoke and loosened off the headbearing nuts so that the stem dropped slowly through the headstock exposing the bottom bearing. Then I cleaned off the old grease and ran a finger around the cup feeling for notches/wear and did same for the top bearing. No appreciable wear so I just packed in fresh grease and tightened her up until the steering was fairly stiff to turn and then backed off a nadge until it was able to flop to each lock with a gentle push of the finger.
 Waste of time then really.
I might do it again in another 40,000 miles or so  8)
