Put it back together minus AIS , thanks to all the good advice on here ,  new plugs fitted , new coolant , new tank cover (supplied by Devilsyam Luke top bloke ), started it up to let it warm up , check for leaks and took it out for a 60mile first ride since HTB  as the roads were dry , no new vibrations , no missing , very responsive , so I think I haven't focced it up , Removed battery when I got back .
What paint did you use?
Simoniz aluminium engine enamel , can withstand temperatures of 800c

Thanks :)

I fitted my bargain Oxford heated grips courtesy of Joe Rock and they work a treat!

Coolant checked, Oxford grips wired to ignition, rear calliper stripped and is now silent. went for a blast in the Peak via snake pass. Lots of leafs on road be careful out there.

Changed my coolant see here http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,10671.msg112914.html#msg112914
And changed my air filter after 16k miles old and new photos.
I wrote the date in the bottom of the filter for some reason - thought it was a good idea.
One thing I would say to watch out for if this is the first one since factory is that when unscrewing the self tapping screws in the top cover plate it created a couple of twists of plastic that you dont want falling down there when you remove the old filter.

Wow man that's yellow lol  don't think a bit of plastic spur will do any harm even if it did get sucked in though.  Rammed n burnt n remnants spat out probably.

All I did on my fazer was look at a photo of it as I'm working abroad right now boohoo

This week I've been mostly tinkering in the garage

Been feeling lousy for the last 2 days with a cold, but wanted to get out on the bike today. I noticed that every time I went outside for a few minutes in the fresh air, I felt better. Ummed and aahd about it all morning, then thought sod it, I'm taking the bike out. Felt great the whole time I was riding. The minute I came back in, felt lousy again - I think I need an intravenous riding set up... :lol

Following on from my new air filter, took it out to see if I felt any difference, hummm might of done a bit, but then I think it likes cold air, then again it seems to like warm air, then again it seems to like damp air. It may not go any better but I feel better for doing it.

I think your addicted like I am, need an adrenlin fix every now and then. Rode to work the long way this morning, my excuse; there is less traffic, but in reality I just need the buzz.  :)

My usual quick blast around the mountain roads , Benissa, >Parcent,>Taberna>Callosa,.Guadelest>Confrides>Castells de Castelles>Jalon> Benissa. It is getting a bit cooler now and will have to ditch then summer gloves. That lot totals 167 kms just over 2&1/2 hour ride out. Full of twists and hairpin bends. I just love my new tyres fitted last week, Conti Road Attacks amazing grip. I had the Yips a few weeks back but changing the tyres has got me back to a comfort zone again.

Try two months and no cash, bud. The saying youth is wasted on the young makes no sense. Apart from having energy and desire to do things, with the money at opportunities to do FUCK ALL! Someone give me some Valium. Or a gun. That works too.

Nice one, how'd you find it?

Ordered a respro foggy mask for the winter today hope to have it tomorrow, may have to remove the chin curtain from my helmet though as I can see them conflicting with each other.

As there was a lorry fire on the M27 today my bike was awesome carving it up on the ride home. It still took me 25 minutes longer than normal but I think way longer if I had the cage.
Good times

Got the front brake caliper pistons out 2 @ a time as Codgie suggested & fitted new seals then clamped these & removed opposite pair-it dawned on me eventually! :rolleyes . Stripped checked regreased steering bearings. Refitted forks ,bled brakes. Front of engine painted behind rad.Next job get nose cone back on & infills. Then its time to tackle the rear suspension bearings, swingarm etc.& rear brake.
