Rode to high Wycombe to meet Paul and buy an exhaust for the fazer . Was a good run and did 140 miles at 52 mpg with the misses on the back . Got home and had to fit it asap .

Thanks again to red98 aka Paul .

The missus woke me up at 5 am, so hopped on my bike and headed to Whitstable in Kent, then headed back for a nice ride along the A28 then the A251 back to Faversham. Then proceeded to clean and polish followed by an oil change, then a second ride out for 30 miles or so. Really got the bug back again now - just in time for winter!  ;)

That seat looks well painful for a bloke, kinda reminds me of a rampant rabbit!

Rode over to Portree on Skye yesterday, booked into a b&b for the night, had a few pints round the pubs, got up this morning quick run round the island, back onto the mainland and home, around 430miles in 2 days, in brilliant sunshine and not a midge in sight..
If you worried about falling off your bike, you'd never get on.

That it was. Feel like I might need to clear something up - she was snoring!  :rollin

The oil change was what chuffed me up the most though, as for the last week or so the gears (particularly 1st and 2nd) were running rough. I put some crappy Halfords own 5w-40 oil in and since then not been running well. So put some Castrol 10w-30 in and ran sweet as a nut (that was the reason for the second rideout). Mind you the missus doing her own thing today was a bit of a bonus lol  ;)

Simoniz aluminium engine enamel , they do a black version as well , no need to over paint with lacquer according to instructions .

Interesting that Hypro recommend 10w fork oil with their springs and Hagon recommend 7.5w fork oil with their springs.
Is the rear shock a standard over the counter item or customized to your weight?
