Had a set on my last Fazer, no issues with grip at all but I do remember they didn't last much more than 2000 miles.

Had a set of road attack2's got 9000kms rear was legally gone at a little over 8000.
Was happy with them overall just felt a bit wooden compared to the Pilot Powers I have on now.
where does the muffler go?

I've got a set of Road Attack 2's on my Boxeye and they are probably the best tyres I have used in terms of grip confidence. I'll be getting a set for the Gen 1 when it needs new tyres  :)
Yamaha Fazer 'the only bike you'll ever need' maybe ???

I've used Road Attack 2s before and liked them, but they are a softer compound than a lot of sport/touring tyres, and won't last as long as others. If you're more into sport than touring I'd recommend them, but if you want a longer lasting tyre, BT030, PR3s or Roadsmart2s are a better bet.

It should also be said that Road Attack 2s have been around for longer than any of the others, which doesn't make them bad tyres, but may give them a price advantage that makes up for the shorter life.

I've recently put roadsmarts on my 1000 and find them fine with a stable feel and an easy 'tip in' transition without that 'falling into a turn' feeling that I've had with other tyres......
This is as young as you're ever going to be!
