FZS600 '98 Rear Brake caliper pad retaining pin needed
« on: 07 October 2013, 11:49:32 am »
Anyone have any views on where to best source one of these nuggets? Despite best efforts with WD and heat I have stripped the allen head out of one of the pins..

As far as getting the old one out I was thinking to get myself a set of extractors and having a go. However the pin is not very thick for this sort of approach, I could well end up spoiling the thread in the caliper.

Any advice?

Thanks!  Brian

Can also get these from Wemoto I believe as well - shouldn't be overly expensive :)
