The main couriers up here are:
www.shetlandtransport.com www.streamlineshippinggroup.com www.northwardsltd.co.uk www.jbt.co.uk If you can get a quote to Lerwick (I can pick up from them), that would be awesome! You don't have the swingarm, I take it? Cheers! 3

Would you send the frame, swingarm and seat to Shetland? If so, how much, please?

FZS600 Fazer / Re: What have you done to your FZS600 bike today« on: 30 August 2015, 04:32:53 pm »
Today I started some much needed maintenance by changing the oil and filter. The previous owner had left the bike standing for six months.
Also ordered K&N air filter, NGK plugs, Colourtune and stainless down pipes (mine are holed) and looking for a cheap Carbtune Pro. Had to remove the rear wheel and replace the tire valve, which was leaking around the seal. Got hold of a set of feeler gauges to set the valve clearances. 5

Got me back brakes sorted! Complete strip down, clean up and rebuild. One of the pistons was solid. Gonna do the same with the fronts. Some difference!

Aye, cheers! Gonna get her in the garage tomorrow and strip the brakes and change the fluid.
Been lurking around the forums for a while, before I bought the bike and it's already giving me ideas (R1 front end...? Hmmm...)! 8

Awesome! Bike is needing a good service before I can use it properly... Came off the ferry this morning and out for a run and the brakes are slightly scary! Been sitting for six months, before I bought it, which doesn't help.

Hi all!
Passed my 'big bike' test three weeks ago, after putting it off for years, and just got my 'new' 1999 FZS600 home this morning! Riding position is gonna take a little getting used to (very different to the NC700 I was learning on), and taking it easy till I do, but so happy to own my first 'proper' bike! Up here in Shetland, we have some lovely roads, so hoping we get some weather to match!
