Yamaha FZS 1000 Gen 1 Front mudgard, fairing, seat unit and grab rails all custom painted black with lava red fleck and a ghosted in Yamaha symbol

No damage what so ever only painted as I wanted something different and then replaced when I went full carbon.

The bike they came off is currentley up for sale so I'm starting to sell off all the bits that I have collected over the years.
If my bike does not sell I'll be breaking it so keep an eye out for some top quality items inc Ohlins shock, loads of carbon, windowed engine cases and lots more.

Collection from Edgworth near Bolton
I wont post but I'm prepaired to travel up to 120 miles for the price of my petrol so a 240 mile round trip I'd be looking at £30
£450 ovno

I jacked the RAC a couple of years ago because they wouldn't rescue bikes under 124cc.
It may of changed now, not sure but loads of lads from the C90 site left them.

I'd second that.

FZS 1000 07 reg but 2005 model lava red, one of the last registered if not the last FZS1000, 23660 miles.

I bought the bike on 7/1/13 as a completely mint stock bike.

I then decided to have her professionally built with a list of improvements and top quality parts and create my dream Fazer...

Carbon
Front mudguard, Front fairing, Fairing in-fills, Belly Pan, Hugger, Tail unit, Side covers.

Powder coated parts by TripleS in Bingley
Wheels, Fork legs, rear foot-peg hangers and stands.

Matt Black Dipped
Engine windowed cases, swing arm by Prestige Coatings

Ohlins fully adjustable rear shock
Diamond like carbon DLC fork stanchion coating & rebuilt with new springs seals & oil
Staintune stainless exhaust (amazing quality & sound)
Oberon bar end mirrors
ASV stubby clutch and brake lever
Ivans jet kit
Gillies rearsets
Hel braided brake lines
4 degree ignition advancer
K&N air filter
ASI removed
Multi gauge
Rizoma Graffio indicators
White dials
Running lights
Givi monokey rack
Digger seat.
Renthal bars 755
Oxford Hot grips
Samco hose set
Blue Spots removed & anodised Red with new caliper seals & SBS sintered brake pads

Crash bungs
M R A vario screen ......That's around £4000 worth of extras not including the labour cost of the build...

It has a fully stamped up service history also it has new Dunlop RoadSmarts 3's BrandNew Yuasa Battery put on this week, new heated grips ready to be fitted.

At 23.000miles during this Winter she had new coolant, NGK spark plugs, new oil & filter, brake fluid flush front & rear brakes, Carbs balanced, valve clearances checked (all ok) new K&N air filter and the EXUP valve stripped greased & set up - this and all the above work was carried out by Russ @Bolton Motorcycle Workshop - I wheeled in a completely stock 2005 Fazer and during every winter I had more work carried out until we decided that there wasn't much more we could do to my bike that wasn't either distasteful or that would spoil the bikes amazing performance...

Russ is more than happy to verify the bike to any perspective owners as he built it from the ground up & he knows it inside and out.

Also the bike can be viewed at his workshop during working hours;

The bike is as close to mint as I can get it, viewing essential to truly appreciate it, the top box does not come with the bike.

It is a cheeky offer and a very good one, if you want the bike as is and I keep the bits then I'd accept your offer, if it's the bike and all the bits then I'm firm on £3700
Your more than welcome to come have a look round it if your local to Bolton.

Clicked on the link, but it took me a blue 2003 bike that definitely isn't as nice as the red one in your earlier posts !

Yup 755 and Hel lines, no probs.
Just remembered may have cut the bars down an inch as they're wider than stock.

66
I don't want to but if I want to keep on biking I have to sell my FZS1000
Reason, I had a serious operation on my spine and I'm now having trouble handling the weight.

 :(

Sad to hear it Mick, and after everything you put into this bike. Which is, of course, in the best (and fastest  :D ) colour.

Will you be looking for something smaller and lighter?
You could always switch to the 600.
Or for sheer hooligan fun, the Triumph Street Triple (675) I found to be featherweight after the Fazer thou. It leans you forward a little more, but I found that didn't aggravate my own bad back.

I'll be getting either the Tracer 700 or the CB500X, both very easy to ride bikes, light, low seat height and good MPG.
Another option would be an old classic, RD250/400 LC350, CX500 or something similar. Just gonna be using it for knocking about, my 1000 miles a day are long gone.

I used standard length.

68
Gorgeous bike mate! Don't suppose you remember what length hel brake lines you put on the front to fit the 755's?

Standard length, no probs.

69
Try again

70
Cant get the pic's to upload, if you PM me your email I'll send them across.

Hope this works

FZS 1000 07 reg  lava red, one of the last if not thee last FZS 23613 miles and unlikely to go up.
I bought the bike on 7/1/13 and it's wanted for nothing since, fully stamped up service history also very recent Dunlop RoadSmarts, New Yuasa Battery put on this week, new heated grips ready to be fitted and everything else below.

Carbon
Front mudguard, Front fairing, Fairing in-fills, Belly Pan, Hugger, Tail unit, Side covers.

Powder coated
Wheels, Fork legs, rear foot-peg hangers.

Dipped
Engine windowed cases, swing arm.

Ohlins rear shock
Diamond like stanchion coating
Staintune exhaust
Oberon bar end mirrors
ASV stubby clutch and brake lever
Ivans jet kit
Gillies rearsets
Hell braided brake lines
4 degree ignition advancer
K&N air filter
ASI removed
Multi gauge
Rizoma Graffio indicators
White dials
Running lights
Givi monokey rack
Digger seat.
Renthal bars 755
Heated grips
Crash bungs
M R A vario screen

Full set of body panels custom painted black with red fleck.

OEM
Seat, indicators, down-pipes inc exup valve, exhaust, mirrors, fairing in-fills, side covers. grab handles, coils x4, exup cables, regulator rectifier,
Sprocket carrier, handle bars, bar weights, engine cases, screen, mirrors.
Front foot-pegs powder coated black,
None STD brake and clutch levers
Possibly some other bits n bats.

That's around £4000 worth of extras, yes I know I was stupid to do it but I wanted my dream bike and it was to be my last bike but the operation changed all that.

Ok so what do I want for it and all the bits that go with it .....

£4000 OVNO

That will include every single thing that I have got for the bike, I've listed what I can remember but without doubt there will be some other bits.
I am at this point not going to sell bits off as I'd rather see it all go together, if it doesn't sell on here I'll try it on ebay and if that fails I'll put the bike to as near as poss to standard and sell the bits off.

And before the pisstakers start with their misplaced humour, yes I know it's a lot of money for a gen 1 Fazer 1000 but it's also a lot of bike.

I'll add pic's ASAP

If anyone pays £100 per lever they have got more money than sense. £60 is OTT too.

Love my ASV's and no I haven't.  :)

:rollin  You may not have a lot of money but that doesn't mean you've got sense either   :rollin

I spend money on some stupid things so I can't exactly say anything about sense...

On reflection, I've always prided myself with common sense but I need to now add, with everything but my bikes.  ;)
