what colour is the tank? and do you have any wee allen bolts that hold on the triangular airbox plastics.  one of mine fell on the garage floor into a vortex... also what about the crash bungs? are they available? and the lefthand handlebar electrics. particularly the pass switch and gubbins.. thanks....

How bad is the crack on the belly pan?
Title: Re: Stripping FZS600 (more stuff added)
Post by: UG on 28 April 2013, 06:05:19 pm
The cracks seems to be in the paint work around the mounting points. It was on a 600 I bought but I took it off becauseit was a bit too gold, it had gold belly pan and a gold end can.

UG,

do you have the Left hand side passenger footrest and mount?

If so, what condition are they and how much would you be looking for?
Title: Re: Stripping FZS600 (more stuff added)
Post by: UG on 01 May 2013, 08:06:19 am
Yeah got them.  Reasonable condition for a bike this age.  £5+£5 postage, because the post office like to charge a lot.

Hi Ug!

2 questions:
1) is the tail tidy still up?
2) if not, any chance of the orginal number plate holder if it's in good nick?

Thanks!

sorry for not getting back sooner UG - what do you term "reasonable condition"?

the ones on mine are shiny shiny - very little pitting.

what ill do is grab a photo of the one I have and you can tell me if yours is in the same kinda condition - hopefully get that up tomorrow night.

I have a spare cronk  engine therefore a water pump if anyone want to buy UGs and needs the missing bit although the chances are you will have one in your existing engine

I don't suppose you have an unscratched generator cover and/or an unscratched crank cover (I think? The smaller cover on the right side)?

You can have the whole engine for 100 quid.
